Some of you have been aware of the new version of the SimplePress – a beautiful Thesis theme skin for magazine sites that I have several times mentioned. This skin has been my prize for eblogtip’s contest and several winners have had opportunities to experience this new version 1.1.
SimplePress v.1.1 has new face and more features added. The new version also removed some old features that could cause slow loading time for your blog. Further, the upgraded version is completely compatible with Thesis 1.7. You can not use v.1.1 on Thesis 1.6 or older versions.

- There is no dark layout for this version, only bright.

There are many things that you can self-explore from this new version and one post can not say it all. I am now in love with this v.1.1 and thinking about changing eblogtip to SimplePress with some special customization. Not sure when and what to customize but you will definitely know once it is out.
