GoDaddy Coupons: $0.99 of First Year for World Cup 2010

Not much to say in the post as it will serve as a reminder to those who have been looking for a cheap domain service. GoDaddy seems still the #1 domain registrar on the internet over the time. There have been a lot of huge promo codes released that other registrars could not offer. This is another huge discount for World Cup 2010 in South Africa.

eBlogTip has shared at least two coupon that has same value with this promo code but it seems that both of them are expired. That is why we need a new one. The new coupon code will save you a lot of money in purchasing new domain names at GoDaddy. The domain price with this coupon is only $0.99/first year!

Here are my test for your reference and it is valid up to now:

GoDaddy Coupons for World Cup 2010

The World Cup 2010 coupon code comes on time and it has more benefits compared to previous coupons. You can not only get .COM domain but all of any type of domains same price of $0.99 as below:

.com, .net, .mobi, .biz, .us, .org, .ca, .co.uk, and .in.

What is the coupon code you need to use at checkout page. Here it is the coupon that I have just found out from a new GodCoupons site. There are many coupons there that you can benefit from.

Coupon: SOCCER99

P/S: Coupon works only for credit card, no PayPal accepted and each account can only register one domain with this coupon.

Good luck and enjoy your new domain and I am happy to hear your comments on this.

GoDaddy Increases Domain Price Tomorrow

Finally, the new domain price scheme will be applied tomorrow July 1 and all .COM & .Net domain names will have new price with 10% up compared to the previous ones. That is why you should act now to save your budget.

You have been informed about this change in my previous article and you also knew the reason why the price would be higher for the .COM & .NET. GoDaddy or any other domain registrars have to increase its price in order to meet new requirements from VeriSign – the domain registry of .COM & .NET.

I have just renewed 30 domains in GoDaddy and saved more than $100. That is a big saving and if I delay the renewal until tomorrow or even after July 1, I have to pay an extra amount of money. Great decision.

Just want to remind you guys about this change and hope you can save your money with your domain. This policy is both applied with GoDaddy and any domain registrars.

Good luck to you all.

Effective Traffic Generation Techniques to Make Money Online

Making money online is a dream for many people. The lifestyle, the freedom to choose and the incredible incomes that are achievable.

In this post I want to tell you how I generate traffic to my internet marketing web sites and how I’ve gone from making nothing online to work at home full time on my new business.

The Process to Making Money Online

Firstly, let me just quickly say that the process to making money online is really quite straight forward and logical. You can break it down into 5 key steps:

  1. Find a hungry market of people (a crowd of people who are desperate to have a particular problem solved)
  2. Build a web site
  3. Build your list by capturing names and email addresses of visitors to your web site
  4. Build the relationship with your subscribers by offering real value that they are really grateful to get their hands on
  5. Promote products that will genuinely help their cause.

Once you have all the above five steps sorted then you have the “system” all ready to go and all you need to then is generate traffic to get more and more people to your web site. And that’s what I’m going to talk about now:

How to Drive Traffic to your Web Site Effectively

I can tell you from experience that driving traffic to your web site can be quite a frustrating task. Especially when you do things like writing articles and don’t ever seem to get anything in return.

I know what it feels like, because in the early days of internet marketing I was having real difficulties to get traffic and build my list.

However, now I understand that the effectiveness of any traffic generation technique is very much dependent on the niche that you are in.

Let me give you two examples of niches and how I would generate traffic to them:

1. Generating Traffic to my site in the Make Money Online Niche

This niche is incredibly competitive – there are lots of big players and people are fighting for visitors to their web site.

In this niche you’ll find that there are hundreds of thousands of sites trying to rank for make money online terms in Google – so many so that you’ll hardly ever stand a chance of getting decent organic traffic without a significant Search Engine Optimization campaign.

You’ll also find that paid advertisements are expensive and unless you have a really strong profit funnel (one that gives you a high earning per visitor) in place then you’ll struggle to make much profit from paid sources.

So instead of these methods, I’d look at three main methods of traffic generation:

  • High profile article marketing (guest posts, posts an authority sites and so forth)
  • Joint ventures (adswaps, integration marketing and giveaways)
  • Form marketing (adding value to forums with a link in your signature)

Using these methods you’ll be able to leverage the traffic from other people to build your list. Please note that adswaps only really come into play when you have an email list of around 500 or more which should only take a few weeks of effort.

2. Generating Traffic to my site in the Cake Decorating Niche

By the way – I pulled this niche off the top of my head…I don’t know if it’s any good or not so don’t go creating any campaigns based on this article!

The cake decorating niche is going to be undoubtedly less competitive than the make money online niche and for that reason you won’t find as many high profile sites or joint venture partners that you can leverage from.

Therefore, a better approach is to try and create your own web site (authority site) with the view to ranking well for long tail keywords in Google. Using this way you can get the best traffic of all – straight from Google itself!

You’ll also find that article marketing and other forms of content distribution (e-book submissions, PDF submissions, video marketing and so on…) are far more effective in these less popular niches and with a bit of work you’ll be able to get multiple top page listings that are bringing you highly qualified traffic to grow your list.

Using the techniques outlined in this post, I manage to add over a thousand subscribers to a new site within four weeks time and time again – so they do work!

If you’d like me to learn step by step how to do everything I’ve mentioned in this post then sign up here http://www.fromzerotowebsite.com and I’ll teach you myself personally for free.

July Coupon Codes

July is another month of big promotional campaigns especially on the Independence Day July 4. There are unlimited coupons created for almost services products and you can search on Google with “July 4 Promotion” key and you will get about 35 millions results. That is awesome! Further, This is the center of Summer holiday and most of people are travelling with their families and most of them are willing to go shopping now and there.

Good reason to issue coupons this time and I have received hundreds of emails from different companies and services providers, of course, among them, there have been a lot of scams and spams. However, there are some special coupons that you should not miss this summer holiday.

After two months of successful collaboration between eBlogTip and Magic Members and Magic Affiliate, Magic Members company has agreed to extend its special coupon for eblogtip’s readers until July 31. With this coupon, you will enjoy 20% off total bill for any sales as below:

The first time when I wrote about this plugin, I have not read it carefully and not had chance to talk with support team, but now, I can reconfirm that WPCoupon site can help you make another retailmenot clone.

Good news to you all that WPCoupon has just offered eblogtip’s readers a special coupon that saves your up to 5% of any license. This coupon is time limited and it will expire on July 31, 2010:

There are many hosting coupons that are still valid through July. I will not relist and you can easily see them in June coupon codes for further reference.

GoDaddy is among the most popular domain registrar with a lot of coupon codes and you can save huge amout of money when registering or renewing your domains.

Though, the domain price for .COM and .NET are up since July 1 but it is still reasonable you can get your domain now for just $7.49 for multiple years. This post can not list out all coupon codes available but you can try them at this link (31 coupons for GoDaddy).

Good luck and enjoy your summer holiday

Affiliate Marketing Is Not Easy But Possible

Many bloggers have been searching around to find the most appropriate guide on how to boost their affiliate revenue. Some of them found so-called affiliate tricks that could generate thounsand dollars a month. But, what is the fact? Is the affiliate marketing that easy or what is hidden behind those tutorials?

I have read many PPC, CPC, MMO & affiliate marketing ebooks and I learned a lot from those authors’ experiences and secrets but most of their guide seems rather theoretical than practical and most of bloggers failed after reading these ebooks and very few of them were successful. So, the affiliate marketing industry is something impossible or out of our reach? It is not easy at all but it is not something impossible either.

You are a blogger and you have a blog, so you can definitely make some bucks from your hard works and your efforts must be fairly rewarded. The most common mistake that most newbie affiilate marketers have made was as followed:

  • Wrong selection of products & services to promote: With that said, not all products or services with high paid commission can generate you any bucks. However, some relevant services with low commission can convert very well.
  • Go behind your niche: You are talking about blogging tips and make money online so how can you put a banner for Nike – the company which produces sports clohtes and shoes….You readers are seriously targeted and you must be careful in selecting the right products to share with them.
  • Wrong marketing channels: You are webmaster and owner of your blog and you have authority to do what you want with your blog but many of you missed a very important point that your blog is not you and if you want your blog generate money for you, you must guide it in right way. If your affiliate banners do not work, so why you don’t try reviewing that product. One post can bring you a lot of money. That blog can do not do but you can!
  • Untargeted traffic: If you know what are your readers’ favorites and where your sales were well generated, so you should marketing to those targeted audiences and try to drive those traffic as much as you can and your revenue & sales will definitely be boosted. However, many bloggers thought other ways and tried to generate as much traffic as possible in the hope that it could generate more money. But, it was wrong in terms of affiliate marketing.
  • Do not use offensive banners: We love beautiful banners and hate effensive ones. Our readers do the same and I have experienced with changing banners everyday or every two days. Why? If your readers see one banner all the time, will they click? No!!! So, the best way is to refresh their eyes with new banner or try to rotate them as I am doing.
  • Use coupons to encourage readers to buy services or products. We love freebies and discounts too. If you are promoting any products, try to get the highest-valued discount coupons to offer your readers and you will get commission. That is win-win. Your readers can save money and you make commission too.

Affiliate marketing is not easy as you have heard but it is not something impossible either. You can make money with affiliate marketing and it can be much better than PPC or CPC advertising model if you are creative and innovative in marketing your products and services.

Many of you have seen the quick changes in my blog in terms of new and old banner. Now, you can also see it rotating too. Why? It is very important and I have spent a lot of time digging in this niche and got some experiences too and now, you can follow if you think it is true too.

I am happy to hear from you on this challenging industry!

Can Your Google Adsense Account Be Hacked?

Google Adsense is the #1 revenue sharing network that has more than 1 million publishers. However, the exact number of adsense publishers can possibly be much higher than what Google has announced. But, that is not what I want to share in this post. The issue that one and maybe many adsense publishers have experienced seems very serious related to adsense system security and it can lead to your account hacking.

If you are a member of WebmasterWorld forum and watching threads related to adsense, you might definitely have heard about the case of an adsense publisher, who has earned more than ten thousand USD in a month but stolen by a hacker from India. This case happened for 3 months now and many webmasters thought that it could be fake but now, it turned likely to be true.

No response from Google representative when this member reported on WebmasterWorld but now, the answer from Google implied that this case could be true and adsense could be hacked too. I myself do not like the way that Google responded to this case as it came so late with no clear commitment that the stolen money could be compensated. Anyway, AdsenseAdvisor also reminded us about the other post that you might have missed on Adsense Blog at this link.

This is a serious security issue that can affect anyone, not just a few publishers. It can be you or me then we should be careful with any changes in your adsense account. Google should also take fast action on this to avoid those issues in the future.

Many of us thought that adsense account cannot be hacked as its system is very secure. Even if one account is hacked, hacker cannot change name or country to withdraw money to his/her bank. But, this case shows us that nothing is impossible as it seems that hackers successfully received money from hacked account.

What should we do to protect our Adsense account?

I myself think that you should keep your adsense email and password as much as secure as possible. Try to generate a long password with different characters. When you use other services like social networks, groups…you should use different emails with different passwords rather than using the same login info with your adsense. Login to your account everyday and report to Google by any means if you find any changes strange not done by you. Further, you should have the best antivirus software installed in your computer and get it updated on daily basis.

That is something you should be aware of and I also learn a lot from this case and hope Google will strengthen their system to ensure that adsense publishers accounts are safe and secure. Further, in the worst case, Google Adsense Team should also take action on timely manner.

Have you ever heard about this issue? If yes, you should share with me or report to Google ASAP.

Good luck and I will keep you informed of this case as soon as I received new updates.

5 Ways to Build a Powerful Blog

One of the questions that bothers most new bloggers is how to build a powerful blog.

Sometimes, you might be thinking if it is possible to still build a powerful blog with the number of blogs and competition we now have. Yes! It is still possible, even in the most competitive niches you can build a very powerful blog if you do what is right. This post will be telling you 5 ways by which you can build a powerful blog.

1. Write Great Content: One of the best ways to build a powerful website is by writing great content.

If you want to build a city, house or any building, one of the most important things is the foundation. The foundation of a building is so important that the success of the whole building relies on it. This also applies to blogging, your content is your foundation and if you write just any content then you are building on a wrong foundation and that might lead to the destruction of your building.

The truth is, it does not matter how much you promote your blog, you can never rule out content from it. If you write just any content then you should be prepared to get just any readers but if you write great, valuable content, you should be prepared to get great, valuable readers.

You should also note that the type of readers you have on your blog can determine how powerful your blog will be so you should always write great content.

2. Support Your King: I wonder why sleeping bloggers are expecting to be popular.

If all you do is just crown the king and you did not give him any further support, the end result will be that your king will stolen or destroyed but if you give your king the ultimate support He needs then your king will do wonders and exploits which will eventually make your king very popular.

Content is king and marketing is the support your content needs. Don’t just write great posts and expect people to come, no! They won’t! You should work hard towards marketing and promoting your content and blog, this is one of the most important steps in building a powerful blog – it is inevitable.

3. Listen to Your Readers: It is only a foolish king that will just be doing anything without being ready to know what his people wants. If you blog as you wish and you are not ready to know what the readers you write for expect then you are wasting your time.

It is very important to listen to your readers and know what they want. If you know what your readers want you can then work on improving your blog to cater for their needs.

4. Network With Others: Two or more can achieve better results than one. You should never underestimate the power of networking.

Try as much as possible to look for fellow bloggers in your niche and then network with them.

There are so many ways to network with other bloggers, you can network with them through their blog, social networking sites and by trying to help them as much as you can.

Networking is one of the most important and unavoidable thing to consider when trying to build a powerful blog.

5. Work on Increasing Engagement: Engagement is very important on your blog because it helps make it a better place, it adds to its value and it also acts as social proof. If you visit a blog and you see tens of retweets and comments on its posts and you visited another blog and you see none, you will know for sure that the first blog is more powerful and influential than the second one.

You should try as much as possible to increase comments and retweets on your blog. You can do this by going to other blogs and re-tweeting and commenting on their blogs, the more you do this the more likely they will reciprocate.

Building a powerful blog is not a day job but takes time of consistent hard-work, if you follow the tips provided above and you work hard towards achieving results, you will have a very powerful blog in no time.

Traffic is also an essential element when trying to build a powerful blog, you can download my free traffic ebook for great tips on getting free traffic to your blog

How to Move to a New Web Host

Unless you run a large e-commerce site, moving your site to a new web host need not be a harrowing experience. Following these steps will ensure a smooth transition with a minimum of disruption to your visitors.

Most website owners get jittery when the time comes to move to a new web host, but there’s really no reason to. Whether you’re moving to a provider that can better expand with you or you’re leaving an unreliable or unsupportive host, the actual procedure of moving your site is simple and straightforward.

Two caveats: If you’re reading this, we’re going to assume you’re not running an e-commerce site with 50,000 products or anything close to it. In that case, you’d need professional help to ensure a smooth transition. Also, switching domains in addition to hosts is more disruptive and involves setting a 301 re-direct on your old domain. It can do a real number on your search engine rankings, so it’s widely suggested that you avoid switching domains unless absolutely necessary.

For the vast majority of site owners, however, moving requires some forethought and attention to detail, but the transfer can very often be completed without any hiccups. Here’s how to do it in five simple steps:

  1. Open an account with your new web host. There are many informative articles on choosing a host, so we won’t go into the details here, but before you move, take the time to choose a highly rated host that can grow as your site does. Don’t be afraid to ask questions, as that will help you determine the quality of their support, not to mention give you the peace of mind as you make the transfer that help is just an email or phone call away. If you’re going to be transferring your site immediately, now’s the time to change the TTL on your old host to a low number, such as 1800 or so, which is half an hour. Your TTL tells DNS servers and browsers how long they can keep your IP address in their cache. This is usually a day or so, but you’ll want to lower the value while you transfer your site so that people are redirected to the new host as quickly as possible.
  2. It’s backup time. Copy your site to its new home using SCP protocol. Simply copy the entire directory structure. For added safety, you can also make a complete archive of your site. Try to fit everything into one archive with the same directory structure as your existing site. If you have a blog, you’ll need to dump the database into a file and copy that to the new host. This varies by blog and database type, so you’ll need to consult your database documentation for the precise commands. If you run a blog, now’s the time to post a message telling your visitors that comments posted before your next update will not appear on the new site.
  3. Unpack everything at your new, hopefully roomier and speedier, home. If you have a static site only, it should already be there with its directory structure intact. If you have a blog as well, fire up your blogging software and configure it to look for the database you just copied.
  4. Test, test, test. You’ll need to test absolutely everything to ensure nothing broke during the transfer process. This is where that meticulous attention to detail comes in, because it can be really tempting to say, “oh, this page worked, so these other 10 should work too.” This often comes back to bite you. If it’s an archive page that hardly anyone ever uses, that’s one thing, but you should make certain that the most popular aspects of your site are working as they did before the big move.
  5. Flip the switch. More precisely, point your domain at the name servers specified by your new host. Again, this varies by domain registrar, but there’s usually a simple web interface to get the job done. Blog owners should post a message letting people know that the update was completed and comments will again be accepted. Once the deed is done, periodically check the logs at the new site to determine when visitors are directed to the new host. After about 48 hours, everyone should be accessing your new IP address and thus your new host, at which point you can shut down the old site, sit back and take a deep breath; the job is done!

BlueHost Redesign

Have you visited BlueHost recently? Have you been aware of its big change? If no, it can be an interesting to many of you who have been in love with this popular shared hosting provider. I thought I typed wrong address of BlueHost website when I saw its redesign.

I have been with BlueHost for about 1 years before switching to JustHost and then HostGator. It was not because of its bad quality or unreliability, just my special needs that urged to get new hosting provider. If you are running a WordPress-powered blog and looking for a reliable hosting service, BlueHost can be one of your options.

If you are my blog readers, you must have read two articles regarding the tutorials to choose a good webhost and how to move to new webhost by our guest bloggers. All of those tips are interesting and fundamental to any bloggers and webmasters too. However, among those articles, the most important things I was really interested in was its reliability and how it could best handle our issues. I did not care too much about space, bandwidth or price, the only thing that most bloggers are concerned is its reliability and support. BlueHost can do this quite well.

The new homepage looks bright and professional compared to its ugly old design. I am sure that most of you love it too.

bluehost redesign BlueHost Redesign

Not only the homepage has been redesigned, but the affiliate panel and many other things have also been customized. I have just logged in my affiliate panel and it is different from old version too.

Have you been aware of this? I hope the quality will be much better and the price will be down too.

Digitalpoint Forum Adsense Account Which Was Disabled, Now Unbanned!

It is not rumor, it is true that Google has again disabled adsense ads on DP Forum – one of the most popular forum for million webmasters. Many comments and feedbacks on the announcement published by DP owner about A 3rd Party CAN Get You Banned From AdSense. All comments and feedbacks were on DP side and most of them criticized Google support system which seemed worst among networks.

According to that announcement, I have learnt that DP Forum has served nearly 1 billions impressions for Google and at least referred 200 new adwords advertisers to Google but what happened? DP Forum has again banned. No phone contact available provided just email and forum support. Therefore, I can myself assume that not only small & medium sites but also bigggggggg sites can be victim of Google policies.

Frankly, Google has sent 30 warnings and alerts to DP Forum regarding its allowed sites which were not owned or in affiliation with DP Forum as stated below:

In the last month, we received 30 warnings for running AdSense ads on non-compliant websites (gambling related). These are sites that I don’t own, have no affiliation with, nor do I know who the owner is. I have no idea why someone would want to use my AdSense publisher ID on their site, but I guess that’s beside the point really. AdSense allows you to set a whitelist of your sites just so this doesn’t cause problems. We have used this whitelist for a long time (since we first heard about it), and none of these gambling related sites were on our whitelist.

After reading this, I myself can adjust that the “allowed sites” of Google Adsense still has some problems. Why? In principle, if you set allowed sites in the list, that means only these allowed sites can show up adsense ads. If someone take DP Forum Adsense PUB ID and put on their sites, the ads would not show up at all. However, Google still disabled DP Forum because of this. So, it showed us that Google “allowed sites” did not function properly.

Anyway, it is fine now after nearly a week of termination as confirmed by DP:

Jul 21 @ 4:50 pm – I just noticed AdSense ads were working here again. I checked my email and no notice from Google about it. I tried logging into my AdSense account to see if I could access it now, and I *am* able to log in now… so I guess it was reversed. {shrug} Also, I just double checked how many impressions we’ve served up, and it wasn’t quite 1B… as of right now it’s 891,208,757 to date. I was also able to confirm that the Allowed Sites whitelist was (and always has been) enabled for my account as I thought.

After reading this article, you should be careful with your adsense account. Try to use “allowed sites” feature as an evidence just in case Google accidentally disable your account. DP Forum had good evidence to show with Google and that could be a good reason to get unbanned within a week. Good lesson for us too.

Thanks for your reading my first article as guest blogger here.
