Affiliate Marketing Is Not Easy But Possible

Many bloggers have been searching around to find the most appropriate guide on how to boost their affiliate revenue. Some of them found so-called affiliate tricks that could generate thounsand dollars a month. But, what is the fact? Is the affiliate marketing that easy or what is hidden behind those tutorials?

I have read many PPC, CPC, MMO & affiliate marketing ebooks and I learned a lot from those authors’ experiences and secrets but most of their guide seems rather theoretical than practical and most of bloggers failed after reading these ebooks and very few of them were successful. So, the affiliate marketing industry is something impossible or out of our reach? It is not easy at all but it is not something impossible either.

You are a blogger and you have a blog, so you can definitely make some bucks from your hard works and your efforts must be fairly rewarded. The most common mistake that most newbie affiilate marketers have made was as followed:

• Wrong selection of products & services to promote: With that said, not all products or services with high paid commission can generate you any bucks. However, some relevant services with low commission can convert very well.
• Go behind your niche: You are talking about blogging tips and make money online so how can you put a banner for Nike – the company which produces sports clohtes and shoes….You readers are seriously targeted and you must be careful in selecting the right products to share with them.
• Wrong marketing channels: You are webmaster and owner of your blog and you have authority to do what you want with your blog but many of you missed a very important point that your blog is not you and if you want your blog generate money for you, you must guide it in right way. If your affiliate banners do not work, so why you don’t try reviewing that product. One post can bring you a lot of money. That blog can do not do but you can!
• Untargeted traffic: If you know what are your readers’ favorites and where your sales were well generated, so you should marketing to those targeted audiences and try to drive those traffic as much as you can and your revenue & sales will definitely be boosted. However, many bloggers thought other ways and tried to generate as much traffic as possible in the hope that it could generate more money. But, it was wrong in terms of affiliate marketing.
• Do not use offensive banners: We love beautiful banners and hate effensive ones. Our readers do the same and I have experienced with changing banners everyday or every two days. Why? If your readers see one banner all the time, will they click? No!!! So, the best way is to refresh their eyes with new banner or try to rotate them as I am doing.
• Use coupons to encourage readers to buy services or products. We love freebies and discounts too. If you are promoting any products, try to get the highest-valued discount coupons to offer your readers and you will get commission. That is win-win. Your readers can save money and you make commission too.

Affiliate marketing is not easy as you have heard but it is not something impossible either. You can make money with affiliate marketing and it can be much better than PPC or CPC advertising model if you are creative and innovative in marketing your products and services.
