Blogging is The Best Way to Get Started & Here’s Why

Ever since I started blogging I realized and learned a whole lot of things. Like many people I started out thinking I could make a bunch of money writing blog articles. Actually I did blogging initially for the lone reason of making money. And apparently up until now, most people do it because of same reasons.

Looking back I know I was very shallow back then. Can you blame me? With all the hype of making money online and making money blogging, it’s not hard for someone to get carried away. Right now all the hype has gone down a bit but I’m sure a lot of people still get enticed with the opportunity.

With that being said, I think blogging is still, by far, the best way to go when just starting out. I’m sure a lot of people will not agree with me but in this post I am going to list down key reasons why blogging is the way to go.

1. It’s super easy to get started – Most online business requires a massive time investment before you can learn to do things. Blogging is not different, but I tell you what, it’s super easy to get started. If you’re in blogger, then literally you don’t have to learn anything. If you’re in WordPress, there are a lot of tutorials that can really speed your progress.
2. Low Start-up cost – For less than $50 you can start blogging and that being said, it’s probably one of the cheapest way to get started in the online business. I’m sure as one progresse, the costs can considerably be much higher but still there’s really not that much risk to think about financial-wise since anyone can pretty much pay for their domain name and hosting.
3. Good initial foundation – If you’re planning to get into the online business, chances are you will still do the same things that you do in a real world business but the difference is just you’re gonna need to put those online. Just the same process, marketing, building customers list, establishing relationships, leveraging expertise and a whole lot more. And by blogging, you do all of that. The beauty is that you get to do those things and you wouldn’t notice that you’re starting to improve on those aspects of doing your own business.
4. It’s a whole lot of fun - Those people who don’t think blogging is fun are retarded. Heck that is why there are so many bloggers nowadays. It’s because it’s fun to do this and you get to make friends with a lot of people. It’s also enjoying to get into this blogging circles where you can collaborate with others and even do your own event.
5. It builds your personal brand - I talk about this a lot in my blog and the unnoticeable benefit of blogging is really about building your online portfolio. I think most bloggers don’t realize this but the moment you start to post stuffs on your blog, it builds up more and more and reflect to your own image and brand. That being said, a blogger must be wary as well with the negative things that may occur.
6. It’s a good platform to launch anything – If you’ve been around, you can easily notice that bloggers like Shoemoney or Darren Rowse can easily just throw anything to their readers and be successful. That’s because they were able to carve out a good following for themselves. I also have seen people do well with consultation business just because of who they are. If you’re looking to launch anything in the future, then definitely a blog is the best communication medium to leverage.

Those are the 6 reasons why blogging is the best place to start with. It’s super easy, does carry no risk and just the fact that people love blogs. Did you notice I didn’t even mention the money as a reward? Yep, most people view blogging as something to make money with and initially that’s how I view it too. But I started realizing that you can do more than just that.
